THE OTHER SIDE OF 'DEFUND THE POLICE'

Dear Public Affairs Director:

Some of your listeners may be about to face reduced police service without their knowledge. The reduction would be due to the Defund the Police rhetoric which has become so commonplace. The Defund the Police rhetoric, however, is not often accompanied by an explanation for what the reduction in funding will mean for the corresponding reduction in police services.

The National Police Association is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, EIN 82-0647764, founded to educate supporters of law enforcement in how to help police departments accomplish their goals.

In order to help prevent your listeners from being taken by surprise with a sudden reduction in police services, we produced the attached PSA to inform the public to the consequences of reduced police funding. We have provided it to you in 15 and 30-versions, both recorded and as a scripted version.
