Radio Media Tour Sarcoidosis, Awareness Campaign: Seek Answers; Inspire Results
The CHEST Foundation of the American College of Chest Physicians has teamed up with the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research to launch Sarcoidosis: Seek Answers. Inspire Results.– a campaign that encourages people living with sarcoidosis to take a proactive role in their treatment plan. We were honored to help promote this effort by producing a Radio Media Tour for National Sarcoidosis Awareness Month in April.
Radio Media Tour Reaches National Audience About Sarcoidosis
Mahalia Jackson, Bernie Mac and Reggie White all died from complications due to sarcoidosis, an immune system disease of the lungs that is often misdiagnosed and can be fatal if left untreated. Our Radio Media Tour featured spokesperson Dr. Doreen Addrizzo-Harris, Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Addrizzo-Harris is one of the nation’s most knowledgeable lung specialists. We booked her on stations in 16 markets across the nation. Her interviews aired on over 50 stations. The Radio Media Tour reached 800,000+ listeners with important information about Sarcoidosis, its symptoms and available treatments.
Radio Media Tours can be booked locally, regionally or nationally, and are a great way to reach an engaged audience with a timely message. If you want to promote your organization’s expertise or resources for those struggling with an illness, talk to one of our media experts to see how a Radio Media Tour can maximize your spokesperson’s time to reach thousands of listeners in one day.
